Innovative Technology Meets Interactive Storytelling

KÀ by Cirque du Soleil introduces us to a world of fire, danger, beauty and courage. Embark on the story of the imperial twins on a perilous journey as they encounter love, conflict, and the duality of KÀ the fire that can unite or separate, destroy or illuminate.

Two characters from KÀ in a blattle while other characters are watching.
During the Pageant, the Royal Barge carries the Twins to the festivities, where they enjoy martial arts, including Wushu, Chinese Opera, and Brazilian Capoeira.

The Call of Duality

In a world on the brink of chaos, the destinies of the Twin Brother and his beloved Twin Sister hang in the balance. As the inseparable siblings stand on the threshold of adulthood, their playful joust of swordplay at their coming of age ceremony quickly transforms into a desperate fight for survival.

Amidst the chaos of war, the twins are forced to confront the duality of KÀ—the intertwining forces of love and conflict that will define their journey. The royal twin siblings are torn apart during a fierce attack, with the sister cast adrift at sea alongside her loyal Nursemaid, while the brother, determined to reunite with her, embarks on a perilous quest accompanied by the Royal Court Jester. Their separation sets the stage as the twins are thrust into a treacherous journey. Each must navigate a hazardous landscape filled with unexpected allies and lurking dangers as they strive to reunite and save their kingdom.

"We wanted it to be an epic story told not with the use of words, but with the universal language of body movement and music”

Writer and Director
