Grupo Vidanta, leading developer of resorts and tourist infrastructures in Mexico and Latin America, together with Cirque du Soleil announced that the month of September will be destined to the annual holiday of the show that has a culinary and theatrical experience, JOYÀ. Since its premiere in November, it has gained recognition and success internationally, positioning itself as one of the most desirable travel experiences in the Riviera Maya and Mexico. The intimate show, which has only 600 seats available per representation, has operated at the limit or near capacity limit since its premiere.

Cirque du Soleil regularly assigns periods of time for the staff and the cast to take vacations and provides for technical maintenance and creative innovations.

Yasmine Khalil, executive producer of JOYÀ and president of 45DEGREES, a Cirque du Soleil company, comments: "Our shows, including JOYÀ, require an occasional break to allow artists to refresh themselves and enjoy a well-deserved vacation."

JOYÀ is a unique entertainment and culinary experience developed by Cirque du Soleil. Since its launch full of celebrities in the fall of 2014, the first show resident in Mexico has received praise and great attendance. The intimate representation takes place at the Cirque du Soleil Theater designed by Grupo Vidanta, located in the Riviera Maya.

JOYÀ will return on Friday, October 2nd and daily presentations from Tuesday to Saturday will be available at the Cirque du Soleil Theater in the Riviera Maya.
