Montreal, April 25, 2020 – Cirque du Soleil is proud to confirm that it will take part in the historic broadcast STRONGER TOGETHER, TOUS ENSEMBLE, a Canadian charity benefit that is slated to take place this Sunday, April 26th at 6:30 ET. Cirque du Soleil will be joining an all-star collection of other Canadian artists, activists, actors, and athletes who will share their stories of hope and inspiration. The show, which has been extended to 90 minutes from the original hour, is a salute to Canadian front-line staff across various industries working in the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19).

Contributing to the event with an act by Cirque du Soleil artists performing from the comfort of their home, Cirque du Soleil aims to offer viewers an escape from everyday life through the delight and whimsy of its universe, one that will inspire, bring joy and will be impossible to soon forget. The amazing performance will showcase music from its most iconic production, Alegrìa, along with a message of hope.

The event will salute frontline workers in hospitals, long-term care homes and grocery stores. It will also raise funds in support of Food Banks Canada.
